Service Animals Australia Dog Training
The team at Therapy Animals Australia highly value the positive impact that animals can have on enhancing people’s lives. To this end, we provide practical support and sponsorship to Service Animals Australia by training alongside Service Animals Australia.
All proceeds from our general obedience sessions, along with the sales from items such as dog food, treats, vests, and training equipment all go directly to Service Animals Australia.
Service Animals Australia is a Melbourne based charity that was established to support people to train a service dog. Service dogs improve the quality of life for their handlers by performing specific tasks that directly assist them with a disability and/or mental illness.
* General Dog Training is organised and trained by Service Animals Australia
Therapy Animals Australia does NOT train dogs listed as dangerous dogs or restricted breeds. Restricted breeds include, but are not limited to, the following: Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasiliero, Perro de Presa Canario (or Presa Canario). Proof of breed and council registration may be required.
